Role: Contract Concept Artist
Location: Remote (UK/Europe preferred)
Duration: Initial 6 weeks, with ongoing collaboration potential
Current Team Size: 5
We’re looking for a highly skilled and adaptable concept artist to join our team at Land & Sea! This role will play a key part in the development of our all-new original IP.
We’re a small, remote team working across multiple time-zones. There is a high degree of flexibility built into the role, and you are free to define your own schedule.
You’ll be working closely with our creative director and designer to produce art in a variety of mediums and contexts, throughout all stages of production. You are someone who takes pride in your work and holds yourself to a higher standard than most. You welcome constructive feedback, thrive in a self-directed environment and are comfortable wearing many hats.
The points below are strictly bonuses, therefore we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t feel you meet any of them! We learn on the job every day and will support you to do the same.
As this is a contract position, we are open to a number of possibilities in terms of how you manage your hours with us each week, as well as how you structure your time on the project. While the initial contract term is 6 weeks, we expect there will be ongoing concept art work for the duration of this project. We envision this initial contract will likely evolve into a longer term collaboration.
Land & Sea is a small team crafting meaningful, highly polished games that seek to add value to the lives of our players. We are an inclusive studio that seeks to provide a healthy and supportive work environment for our team, and prioritise sustainable work practices such as realistic hours and zero crunch.
We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in collaborating with us! We will follow up with suitable applications as soon as possible.
Kind regards
– The Land & Sea Team
